Ways of working
During the pandemic, we made some important and positive changes to how we work, including creating a more flexible and dynamic environment so all our colleagues can thrive.
But we’re not stopping there. We have bold plans and big challenges ahead and we’re determined to keep improving.
When it comes to flexible working, we ask, ‘Why not?’, not ‘Why?’ and we’ll always try to accommodate requests wherever we can although, due to our work, it’s not always possible.
You can work flexibly in lots of ways, including changing your working days or hours, doing compressed hours, doing job shares, changing your location or flexible retirement.
Whatever your working arrangement is, the way we all work rests on our values:
- Take care – we look after ourselves, our colleagues and our environment
- Reach higher, be better – we’re always learning, always improving
- Be respectful and value everyone – we embrace differences and work together as a team
- Passionate about everything we do – we listen to others and show that we care
- Take ownership – we own problems until they’re resolved
- Be proud, be blue – we celebrate and promote the great things we do.
